| stroked the sohc 2.5 inline 6 to 2.8, added a lumpy cam and mild port clean up work, extrudehoned intake, balanced the internals, went from a 75mm crank to 84mm with stock pistons and shorter rods to keep the stock deck height, stock compression is 8.7, the increased stroke should have it at around 9.2, long tube jethot coated headers and 5mm overbored throttle body finish off the basic set up, a sn-92 paxton spinning at 41k at 6500 being cooled by my own system that has 2 heat exchangers, charge cooling is done by a single ended honeywell air/water cooler, pumped by a bosch "cobra" pump and cooled by a pair of hayden tranny coolers a 1678 and 1679. injection is by megasquirt using a map sensor, wideband O2 and 32# design III bosch injectors, i get a hair over 7# of boost at redline |
