Im using a 6.5 from a gt on my cobra and its almost hitting the water pump pulley ?
Hi there,
With a 7" crank pulley you may need a smaller water pump pulley.
See ya. Michael Plummer
your running the stock pullies correct.. you don't have an underdrive water pump on it do you. aren't they bigger.
Yes im using the stock pulley. I had underdrives but it was to big for even the stock cobra crank pulley. I now have stock water pump pulley on with a 6.5 gt crank pulley and they are so close there bout to touch ?? I dont see how people use a 7" crank on a 94-95 ??Quote:

Had a stock water pump pulley on my friends 94 Gt and put a 6.75" crank pulley on it. Was close but seemed to fit ok.Quote:

What pulleys are you guys using ?
I have the stock GT crank pulley on my 95 with the stock water pump pulley and it fits fine. There is plenty of room to put a larger pulley on mine.
Same here, stock Gt crank pulley which is 6.5" and stock water pump pulley with a 3.55" blower pulley, good for 13psi @6000rpm.
The stock cobra crank was 6.25"
