14 lbs of boost, 110/114 octane, and timing???
I am running the combo in my sig. w/ an A/F ratio of ~11.5 and a compression ratio of ~9.2. I just recently upped my boost to 14 lbs and I'm curious as to how high I can crank the timing with 110/114 octane?
I've been running it ~18 degrees for 93 octane but I think it can take more. I went to the track today and bumped it to 28 degrees with ~70/30 mixture of 114 octane w/ no signs of detonation. Do you think I can get away with any more? I dropped .4 and gained 4 mph when I added 10 degrees of timing so I just want to know how high I "should" be able to go.
