Boost doesn't start untill like 3,000 RPM's now I was wondering if I install a 8" crank pulley will boost start at like 2,300 or somthing sooner than 3,000?

I don't have one but when I installed my F-150 pulley boost did come on sooner. Think of it this way, at any given engine RPM level a larger crank pulley will in effect spin the blower pulley faster then a smaller crank pulley at the same RPM.
Honestly it's been so damn long since I have drove my car I can't recall exactly how much sooner. I am willing to bet that it will be a very noticeable difference.
boost comes on quicker, but its the upper rpm's that you get knocked back in your seat!
