Have any of you guys calculated your impeller speed? If so what pulleys are you running and the impeller speed? The link below will give you the calculator to figure it out.
Thanks

I'm running a 2.95" Blower Pulley and a 7" Crank Pulley 10 rib setup.
At 5500 rpm the impeller is seeing 45,025rpm
Do you shift at 5500 rpm and if you do, do you have any track times?
I'm maxing my A-Trim at 44992.68,with a 6.87 crank,and a 2.95 charger pulley,at 5600 rpm.Shifting is done well before that though,around 5200.

What kind of boost are you seeing at that 45k impeller speed and at what altitude? Is it on a stock long block?
40.570 at 5600. Anyone know what max and/or optimal impellar speed is on an S-Trim?
J
Max efficient impeller speed is 45,000 rpm and max impeller speed for a S-trim is 50,000 rpm.
Couldn't tell you.Don't have a boost guage yet.I will soon though.The motor is a stock 86 longblock,with about 40k on it.Boost should be around 10lbs considering how restrictive everything is.Toronto is pretty much sea-level I believe.Quote:

I have track times but they don't count cause of my traction issue I'm working on.;) :DQuote:

I was seeing 12lb of boost at 4800 feet. It was about 60* out.
