I've got my car torn down for a full rebuild & in the process I am removing alot of unneccesary equipment to include complete A/C system and power steering system.
Anyone have any ideas on how I can route my belt & what I might need to get it done. I would really like to put the altenator in place where the A/C or P/S pump was located but not sure if this may cause some issues elsewhere. Toss it around & let me know what you come up with.

I think the best way would be keep th alternator where it is suppossed to go, and get the march kit.
There is a post here about i think that lists the part #.

It would probably take a custom groved waterpump pulley but it would be a super clean install.

my 2 cents.
I just went through the same deal, with my novi2k install on my 92 gt. Before the blower I had the march kit that had a idler pully on the drivers side. I just used that bracket as a templet, and made it a little longer(I didn't make it, a machinist did to be exact) then just used a long bolt that threaded into the head, reused the march tension rod. and all is done.
On the other hand it is possible to use a standard rotation water pump as well. Just reuse the same pully and everything.
March's stuff is expensive, but well worth the money. I"ve got bits and pieces of the kit if you would be interested, otherwise it'll just site around in my garage. Let me know. Email me or pm me or something.

Thanks for the offer UNTCHBL but I'm a long way from getting my motor done, I want to wait until I have it back on an engine stand so I can bolt everything up & then be able to mock it up. That way if I have to return any parts I can do so in a timely manner & get most of my cash back. I've also got a few buddies who are machinist/fabricators so I may enlist their help as well to get something that'll work.
