Torque setting for pulley?

I am putting my new VR4 supercharger in and installing the new pulley on the head unit. What is the proper torque to set the pulley to the head unit. I don't want to overtighten the pulley on the head unit and break off the bolt in the shaft.

Ya know, old fart that I am, I remember back in the old days, when mechanics still figured stuff out instead of being plug-and-play parts replacers, there was a bolt spec card in every manual and you could estimate torque by bolt size/thread pitch. This is still valid and it's the way I torqued all the less vital torque fasteners like that one. A bolt that size, will be fine at about 16-20 ft/lbs, it's keywayed, after all. Use locktite, of course.

The more critical torque is what it takes to spin the blower. That'll tell you how good your rebuild is.

I bought the VR4 from Craig @ Paradise so, I would think it is done right...Well I hope it is done right. :teeth: I will try it out tomorrow...and I will let yall know how it does.
