I'm here to help, althought I no longer own my Kenne-Bell.. I bought my 1500 Bell back in 1995 and I sold it earlier this year.. So I've got about 8 years of experience on my car and others.. I got my 3420 Fox GT to run 11.6's at 120 on drag radials, with a 5 speed and the 1500 Bell..
And it dyno'd 400 rwhp at 5200 rpms... And 486 ft lbs of rwtq at only 2600 rpms.. On a stock cammed, Edelbrock headed, stock short blocked 302..
Welcome Jeff, was wondering when you'd show up :D
I plan to do something with a small kenne bell later down the road. I'm thinking a fuelie motor in a jeep or old broncho. Then find some rocks to play on.
Likewise as far as plans to use a kenne bell. I will more than likely be getting a Gen 2 Lightning pretty soon and plan on upgrading the supercharger to a kenne bell.
I was waiting for someone to post - I'm here to help too!
Don
lol Don! You need to help migrate some of the kenne bell crew over here.
By the way, I've followed your buildup and what not for quite some time over at the corral.
Nice to meet ya.
Brandon
Whats up guys another x Kenne Bell owner here
I dont have a Kenne Bell but I sure wish I did! Im looking forward to following along with your experiences.
wus up just registered last nite never knew of this place, but now i do.
2 months and no posting whats up?
Here's my combo below.. :D
I've got one on my 94 Lightning, but it's in storage for the winter:(
I'm close to buying a KB1500 for my 89 GT Vert (AOD/327 geared car)...
From what I have read, they are just a "beginner" type blower...is that right?
The rest of my car is bone stock, so it "should" be a good fit...
