Loctite for Bearing Race

I have been reading some of the older posts and noticed talk about using loctite to hold the race alignment pin from falling into the ball drive.

I just buttoned up my SN-89 and did not think twice about the pin.

What type of loctite and how much do you need to use ?

I always used red since you can use heat if you ever needed to remove it.

me too, I always use the red loctite on my pins in the races.
