What are some of the best and easiest ways to move the alternator to the drivers side on a small block 302? i do not have P.S. or AC. I have a AC eliminator kit on now but the stock tensioner pulley alows too much movement of the belt . Thanks,Rich

this is what i have on so far..as you can see this allows for alot of belt movement
anyone?
has anyone just made their own brackets?
Most of the supercharging kits I've seen come with their own means of relocating the alternator. Each kit approaches alternator location differently - some provide separate brackets, others just relocate it using the existing blower brackets. On some TPI Corvette applications the alternator is actually flipped backwards with the rear facing forward in order to accommodate it.
There is an alternator relocation kit from a company called Breeze Automotive for the Ford 302. This moves the alternator to the driver's side and from what I've seen/read on other boards, it seems to work very well. It might be an option for you - check it out:

Thanks for the info
No problem. I hope you find it helpful.
Is it possible to use the paxton and the alternator on the same engine side? Passenger side? I'm asking because I do have a power steering on my 68 mustang.
Thanks,
I've been looking for a kit to relocate my alternator to the lower passenger side on my sbf. I haven't found any kits. Does anybody know of any?
This is what i have done so far...took a air delete plate and modified it to use ..
I used a hack saw and a body saw to cut the plate..its not very pretty but if it works good who cares? I have around 50 cents in washers and $1.79 in the turnbuckle..so now i need to get a belt
Hey Hunter moroso makes a bracket like that part number 63810 i think
Let me know how it works for you
