I seen a 1.52 but not sure of the suspension setup, but they had 275-50x15's
275/50/15 et street radials, stock style suspension (adj. uppers, southside lowers, moroso drag springs in back, airbag on pass. side) and have seen 1.48-1.51 off the foot brake >>
how do you get it to hook? leave real soft then get into it? i have stock uppers and southside lift bars and an air bag also cant really seem to 60 foot it ,i have adjustable rear shocks on it also . i have tried to get better weight transfer by moving the battery in the back and putting 70/30 and 4 cyl springs in the front. i have anywhere from 15 to 18 # in the tires, almost like driving on stock tires.we put about 3 degrees negative in the lift bars,so what else am i missing?
Because of cooling down a Drag Radial the best traction is your first hit.
I've seen 1.3x's Many can get 1.4x consistent!
I had consistent low 1.5x with much suspension & launch work needed

A guy that races at my track had some and got good 60fts with the 255/50 16" on stock Pony's. He has the Hoosiers now and gets 1.5 consistently. The suspension looks all stock on the car, I have pics. It has an AOD though so maybe that has alot to do with it. The best the car has been is a 9.89@142 I think. Pretty damn fast for a full weight LX coupe! Here is a pic of it...

I posted pics in Corral awhile ago. Not sure where he is getting all the power or how. Car has no gauges or anything on the interior. 100% sleeper. 2 1/2 full exhaust with a plain Dynomax catback that is quiet. It has a Vortech, not sure what model. It says V-1 on it.
This is at Napierville, QC and he also runs at SanAir, QC too.
I've had several 1.44-1.46s on 275/60 MTs
I have UPR lowers, BBK uppers,130 coilovers in the front, 90/10s
They are very dependant on track prep I have noticed.
My buddy went a 1.28 on a 325/50R15 MT DR. That was a s/c'd stang --- went 8.2X on that pass. He uses Team Z's suspension setup.
i have been a best of 1.48 with the 275/60/15
ive been 1.31 60ft on BFG 325/50/15 DR and i have a customer who has been 1.28 on a BFG too... i have another customer who has been 1.33 on a MT 275/60 MT..
