I finished my install and after driving around alittle it looks like the oil feed connection on the top of the blower is rubbing the hood. When you clock the blower what exactly moves. It looks like clocking the blower wouldn't help me out any, or would it? When you guys had to clock your blower, what exactly was hitting the hood?

when you clock the blower just the discharge will move, so it wouldnt help in your case
do you have a stock hood?

Can you tighten the existing fitting? How much is it hitting?

Yes it is still the stock hood. It rubbed a mark on the hood about an inch long and maybe 1/8 of an inch wide. It is rubbing right on one of the cross supports. I can get a picture tomorrow. It is actually rubbing the braided line itself not the fitting, I can see the marks on the line. So clocking the blower isn't going to help me there then right? I'll get some pics tomorrow to give you guys a better idea.

If its rubbing a spot 1 inch long, I would probably check the motor mounts, thats a lot of movement. You could also just ziptie the line down.

I did take the oil feed line out and removed the teflon tape I had on it. Then put it back in, and I think i got at least 1 or 2 more turns out of it. Hopefully that will fix it.
