to anyone that installed a f150 pulley and has bigger injectors like 30lbers. did u also change the fuel ration in the fmu.
i have 30's and it seems to be running rich and the fuel pressure gauge goes to almost 100lbs. i have a fuel pressure regulator and have dropped it some.
but was wondering if vortechs, fuel ratio for their fmu is the same as the paxton...
has anyone tried it or changed theirs out.

You would be much better off sending the FMU to Paxton for a recalibration. They will ensure that it works perfectly with the 30's.

Have you considered scrapping the FMU and just running injectors and a 255lph fuel pump? When I was installing my 1000, I had ALOT of people tell me to just forget the FMU and tune without it.
If you're running 30# injectors and a 255 intank, I would think you'd be ok without the FMU....
Not much help for your situation but with no FMU, it's one less thing to worry about and tune.
I'm running 30lb injectors with no FMU, 255 in-tank
,and 8 lbs with no issues.... smells a little rich at idle, but you could tune that out with a EECtuner, PMS, chip, etc...

I run 36's and it made 472 at the wheels(before I added the nitrous and blew it up). I would would eliminate the FMU. They are to hard to tune and they are just a bandaid anyway.

They are the devils handywork.

Chris I would not do it with the 30 pounders and your combo. I can assure you though that it would run better than it does now with like a 42pounder and no FMU.
If might not be a huge diff at WOT but your driveablity will be a ton better. Just my .02 cents.

I would like to do the same thing for my Dakota pick-up. The Ford Motorsport injectors plug right in on the Dodge's, so I figured I would go with a set of 27#'ers....
My only question is what to do about delivery to the injectors.
468LC: I agree Steve! I was thinking about ditiching the 30's and going with 42's and a PMS or DFI system! Your response though was dead on the money Steve! :)
notchlx: I am not familiar with Ford's distant cousing Dodge, but if it is a returnless fuel system, an aftermarket in-line pump like a
T-REX would definately benefit it IMO. Also the 27#'ers would be an adequate choice, I dunno if 30#'s would be to much or an option for you to consider?
