I know that this is listed for 93-03 mustangs with the novi but I think it would work for us, anyone know for sure. It would be nice because Paxton and ASP wants $90 for the 2.75

It looks like it's a winner.
"Chuck", our site marshall has a 2.75 blower pulley or similiar, and he is part of the one belt crew. He could possibly chime in here with his input.
Good find Jason!
I e-mailed Kelly @ paxton with the part#, I'll post back when I get a response.
That is the pulley I purchased through Paxton.
Email Kelly and see if he will lower the price to match or beat them.
I love the pulley, no belt slip at all, boost comes in earlier and gained 2.5#'s.
Sweet, I am going to get it soon. I allready see 7psi with the F-150 crank pulley, I want some more low end boost and I think that would be the hot ticket.
Hey chuck how hard is that pulley to replace, will a basic pulley puller get the old one off? How about the new pulley how easy is it to put on the shaft?
Its a straight forward job.
Just be careful its a double keyway, dont drop one of the keys when you slide the pulley off the shaft.
Just break the plastic cover off the loosen the bolt on the pulley then loosen the belt. If you loosen the belt first the pulley will just spin when you try to loosen.
Good luck you wont be disappionted.
Thanks Chuck, maybe it'll compensate for my altitude somewhat? LOL,
Never heard back from Kelly.......
A little N2O would do that well, lol :DQuote:

Jason, what is your altitude at? I am at 4,100' and when I put on my 2.75" blower pulley, I was lucky to see just over .5psi. The boost however did come on a lot sooner, and felt a lot better on the low end. It was definately worth it, but those of us at higher altitude know how bad it sucks to get the same amount of boost as those lower than us!
Chris
Yeah, my altittude is 6200' where I live and the closest track is PMI and its 5800' with air like 6k+', lol. Really what I want is more low end boost/ mid range boost. Don't really care too much about peak boost because it is so hard to make boost up here. On my stock engine I do see 6psi at 5600~RPM right now. and If I rev all the way to 6K I see 7PSI on a cool day. If I knew that the altitude was going to be such a huge factor I would have held off for a TT kit.
Just FYI I helped to break that seal and it felt great :)
Ian
The pulley made a difference down low, but once I ditched the 3.55's and threw in my 4.10's is when I saw the huge difference. We usually see air up in the 5-6k range of elevation in the summer when its 105* outside. Get rid of the 3.08's and get some gears. I think you would be a lot happier with how the car runs.
Chris
Yeah, I plan to this winter for sure. Hey ya still got those 3.55's hanging around?
