What all do I need to purchase to add a bypass valve?
Is the plastic discharge tube really that bad?
I plan on adding a AFM Powerpipe at the same time I install the blower any suggestions?

Welcome.
For the bypass valve you will need:
1) A metal inlet tube - make one, or PM 468LC and see if he wants to make another one :)
2) A Bosch bypass valve ($20-30)
3) Some rubber line and hose clamps.
The powerpipe is a good idea, I have one on my car. Not only does it give you 1-2lbs of boost, it also cleans up the engine bay a little bit.

YES, YES, YES, YES, YES!!!! That discharge tube sucks. It crimps and bends if you tighten the clamps with just a screwdriver!!Quote:
