I need to replace my current belt driven flexalite fan as it contacts my new S-trim crank pulley. I am looking for any thoughts on different electric fan options. What works/doesn't work. I currently have a stock rad. Thanks

I use an electric fan off an '02 Buick Lesabre. Works perfectly and the car runs very cool. Takes up very little room and draws very little amperage.
I use the twin flex-a-lite slim line fans. Lots of room to spare and they cool my car so well I have to leave them off most of the time.
Doug,
Is that model #210. Do you have it wired with a simple on/off switch or do you have a thermostatic switch? Also what holds it in place (metal brackets or those plastic things through the rad)? Thanks
Anybody else, come on guys get out of the arcade already!!
Ramcharger! A number of people use this setup, me included. Works awesome.
i already havean electric fan on my gf's car.............will i need to get a new one?

How wide is that fan setup?
I went with 2 11 inch SPAL pusher fans. They seem to work well, and have the highest cfm rating I've seen. I would have gone with pullers since they are more efficient, but I had a clearance problem going with a 50mm wide belt on a passenger mount blower. You could probably get away with 2 pullers on a 35mm or 10 rib setup no prob. I'm using a 3 core Granatelli rad like ian also. So on a stock setup it would work. SPAL pretty much makes the best fans around.
