which heads new AFR 225's or these used TFS heads

I'm not for sure on which to go with. what do yall think

TFS TW heads, ported by TEA (304 cfm intake, 227 cfm exhaust, have flow sheets) 64 cc combustion chambers, 1/2" head bolt holes, .042" steel wire around the combustion chambers, AFM hi-rev valvesprings, 7/16" rocker studs
Crane gold race 1.6 ratio rockers, 7/16" studs
TFS 6.7" chromoly pushrods

I can get those heads with rockers and pushrods for $1500. Or wait build the short block and then buy a set of AFR 225's? Casue of right now I do not have the block or anything. I was planing on using this money for the short block money. But this could save me some money.

Oh and with these TFS heads the previous owner went 5.5's in the 1/8 with a turbo. And I recently bought his turbo setup ;)

Any suggestions?

I'd get those TEA heads myself.......but to each his own...

I'm kinda partial to AFR's myself. Either head will get you into the 5's with a decent size turbo.

u think a PT-88 will do :D , looks like I will be going the AFR route. I'm passing up this deal

I'd go w/ the AFRs if I had to choose between the two.....but if you don't have to choose either I'd suggest you go w/ the Edelbrock Victor Jrs. They make #'s as good as the AFRs right out of the box, not to mention that you would have the ability to port them down the road and make serious power.
