s/c pulley proximity issue

ok i have a 94 lt1 z28. room is hard to come by in these cars. i believe what ultimately lead to the demise of my novi gss was the proximity of the the fan assembly to the s/c pulley.. under hard acceleration the fan assembly would nick the pulley quite often making a terrible grinding noise. now i have rebuilt the blower and am trying to brainstorm ideas on how to fix this issue... anyone have an lt1 with a paxton with a similar issue? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! thanks
