I just got a new set of 10x15 draglites with a 6.5 offset for the stang. I have a used set of 28x10.5 MT ET drags that came with tubes. Should I use the tubes or not? a lot of people are telling me theres no need. What do you guys think?

i would personally, just an extra step of protection there.
If your not going to put screws in your rims do not use tubes,it will cause the tire to spin on the rim and cut the valve stem on the tube
The tubes will make the sidewall a little stiffer and more stable down the track. I ran my 26x 10 ET DRAGs with tubes and no screws and never had any issues. 1.4x 60's. I also ran the 27" Hoosier QTP with tubes and had no issues.
The ADV of tubes: is consitent air pressure and more stable top end.
DIS -A little more rotating mass(minimal effect) and if not screwed and spin will likley rip out the valve stem.
You'll have to weight what makes sense for you.
BLOWNBY has a lot of good points.i use tubes and just prefer the secyrity that the air will stay in and there is less maintenance, upkeep with psi by using tubes.
Should screws be used with the tubes then?
well,I would say screw them and just be on the safe side if you want to use tubes
Probably, but I was cutting 1.4x 60's for two summers on slicks with tubes and no screws. Probably should have but never had an issue. I really didn't want the screws in my rims so never messed with it. I also ran 11.5 psi.Quote:
