Vortech crank pulley question

I recently installed a new SQ-trim Vortech on my car. The car previously had underdrive pulleys on it, but I had to go back to stock pulleys with the blower. My clutch fan now makes quite a bit of noise (no, I haven't done an electric fan yet) It seems Vortech makes different crank pulleys to slow down the accesories, but still use the same 6.87 size for the blower. Anyone have one? Does it work ok on the street? I'm guessing I have the standard crank pulley on mine and I want to free up a couple H.P if possible, and slow down the fan

Mine did the exact same thing when i installed my novi. The fan would howl then stop and start howling again. i just threw on my 8" crank pulley (which has the underdrive accessory) and the howling is gone. Go with the ASP 8" if you've got a 86-93 fox or the 7" for 94-95 application.
