t-body opinions???

well im going to the track for a drag day to see what she does with 6psi and stock motor before the winter, but my question is i have a 70mm tbody on the stock intake which i recall is 56mm opening i think. anyways i was told i want to know would the car run better/ faster with the stock tbody back on the stock intake? i was told the air is coming in the 70mm and hitting the sides of the intake since they dont match and is not flowing good. my question to you is does it make a difference should i bother changing it back? let me know thanks

ps: also any little tricks to get a little more at the track to set it up fill me in thanks

Since your going at WOT it will not matter since throttle response is not a issue. Leave it on not worth changing back.
