Does anyone know how fast the oil drains from the blower?? Is it going to trickle out into the pan or does it have some velocity to it?? I try to free up some HP and was curious if the return line might actually be spraying oil on the crank and cause some windage...
You've got no worries there as it goes down the drain back line with about as much velocity as when you pour oil in your oil fill. Actually it would be a lot less than that, it would be more of a trickle. The oil feed sprays a very fine mist directly onto the gears of the Novi so the quantity of oil is not very much at all.
