Pulley distance ?
I have seen pulleys on SN superchargers tight to the house what I tought is normal but I have seen pulleys that are as much as 1 1/2 inch of the blowerhouse ?
That could not be good to the front bearings don't you think ?
Some examples:

This would be an easy way for me, becouse I want to upgrade to 10 rib and use an extra 10 rib crank pulley becouse now the blower runs on the accesoires belt:

What do you guys think ?
Moving the bracket forward is a major almost not an option.

That is why Paxton used such a large bearing compared to others because on the early cars the pulley needed to be 2.5-3.0" from the blower housing. On custom kits we have put a extension of another 2" with no support bearing and never had a failure for installing the units on speed boats.

So you think it is ok to move the 10 rib pulley about 1.5 inch from the housing ?
That would be a easy fix for me, I have to cut some material from the inside pulley where the bolt goes trough or use a longer bolt and put some thick shims behind the pulley.
Thanks and happy hollidays

I would not see this as a problem. You could buy a 4" wide belt cog drive for the VR4 in the day and that pulley was at least 3" from the face of the unit.
