nahh 4.10's are good enough for me
Street driven 4.10's are OK but at the strip unless you have nice heads and a good blower cam you will be out of the cars power curve when you go thru the traps in the 1/4.
Well, I have some majorly ported stock heads...iam running my stock cam for the time being, but i do plan on changing that as soon as i switch over the thevr4 ;)
so 3.55's eh? may i ask why 3.55's instead of the 3.73's on a blower 5-speed?
I run 3.70's with my Novi GSS (SN-2000). I could stand to go down to 3.55's but I use the car mainly for autocross so the pull out of slow corners is nice. This is in my Ford powered Datsun 240Z.

Speedy, Prozac's bro has the fastest SN balldrive powerd car I know of on a stock motor. 4.10's, slicks, full mac exhaust and a very good driver. He runs consitent 12.30 and an occasional .20..... I'm gonna work with them next week and we're gonna try to tune to the 11's. He has the BTM set @ 1.5 and with some race gas and timing I think he can get there.
I like 4.10's in stock motor'd cars and 3.55's in anything else supercharged.

Like you said Brent and as I mentioned 3.55 would be the best gear with a supercharger.
