6.87/3.00 uses a Mac Truck belt #88GB452P555 - 10 rib
I need to know what belt for a 7" and 3.25" 10 rib paxton novi 2000?
If anyone has any ideas let me know.
Jeremy
it should be around 56.0 inches check your local parts store i believe they should have it...the oreilys and napa here did atleast
Thanks for the reply..
You have any idea about part #.
I have a Napa here local, but there are probably going to want a part #.
Jeremy
not sure on the part number...just tell them you need it to be 10 ribs and 56 inches...they should be able to look it up somehow
they dont make a belt that is 10 rib and 56.0, I found a 56.7 and that was about it, I think the one they had below it was like a 54?
Anyone have any clues?
Jeremy
I answered you on the corral, then I came to check here. I see you beat me to it.
FoMoCo1 and I live near each other and have been searching through all these different combinations for the past month for both our motors. I didn't think they made a 56.0". You may try to go outside of the idler pulley and lengthen it to around a 57.5". Napa has a huge selection of 10 ribs from 56.5" up. They have almost every 1/2". I was going to one of their warehouse stores that I have a friend who works at and buying about 10 at a time (at ~$15-19 each). I was originally trying to do a 8" crank pulley to not void my warranty, but that didn't work. Now I have both a 3.00" and 2.75" pulley.
Anyway... you'll lose contact area, but you may find one that works if you go to the outside of the idler pulley.
A tech at Paxton gave me the p/n for a Mack truck belt that is 55.5", 88gb449p555, might want to check it out, also the Volvo truck belt p/n for the same belt is 3895518.
Man thanks for the reply I will check it out and see if I can find one of them and give it a try.

i doubt it will fit....the 55.5 fits pretty snug on my 3.00 pulley.....although i have been wrong before
Well got some good news the 55.5" mack truck belt worked with the 7"/3.25" pulley. I did have to bump the motor over a few times to get it on, but it worked.
