14#'s, hell I can get that outta my piss-ant Novi 1000 and at a fraction of the cost :D
I recently had a buddy of mine split his from the main to the cam bearing on nearly every main. He was running a 347 and was hitting it with a measly 150 shot thru his fogger system. Only sprayed the new motor 1x at the track and had maybe a dozen n/a'd passes and less than 200 street miles on a brand new build-up. This is what prompted me to spend the $$$ on a Dart block.

You guys be nice now! Sean the NOVI 1K is nice, but you know you want a ProCharger :p I agree 100% with the block I have plans, but not until next yeaR <- Hint... Ohh and Sean id whip your azz like a Texas tornado - get a real blower and get on with your life :p
ProCharger does sell the braket seperate, but yes it is very expensive. I personally think it the cleanest way to delete the PS and A/C.

130 for that? i like sean's idea of mounting the march pulley up on the novi bracket. stand. rotation pump will be needed, probably can run the same pulley on the waterpump? now if i sell the march bracket, the other march bracket, i could buy the procharger bracket...... WTF didn't i just buy a D1SC when i had the chance? Cuz it cost's too much and i made just as much power with a 1K!!! Cmon Ian, you know you miss the "baby blower". Wanna race? Your car has no tranny, mine throws belts. should be interesting---- no?

This will be a good depate :D
So you think that 14lbs on the NOVI 1K would make just as much power as 14lbs on the D1SC?? I say the D1SC will make lots more, let the fighting begin :p
My trans will be back fully loaded for the weekend..we can race then :D

i will agree the D1 will outshine the little CFM of the novi. For the price, it should.
And not having all the issues we all have gone through in this 1k install/go fast chase, it's worth it.

Sean I think putting the pulley up high like that does not gain anything.
I just went out and looked my car over again for some more ideas.
There should be plenty of tensioner travel to not need a pulley at the top of the paxton bracket as you have shown. If a pulley was up there though it is right in the way of the upper rad hose. Also a pulley up there will hurt belt rap on the water pump.
I would still put the little march pulley down below between the crank and alt to assure maximum belt rap around the crank pulley.
There is plenty of room down below to mount that small pulley.
I agree with ya on this one. the only thing is the March pulley is ribbed, so putting it down there would mean the back of the belt riding on the ribs......

Well shitcicles.
Put the stock fox bod smooth tensioner pulley down there.
Have you by chance inquired on a grooved water pump pulley with ASP yet?
