So it is really just a straight reducer (4" to 3 1/2").

John,
Thanks! When you had the elbow on the car. What size was it?
It's funny how similar john91's combo is to mine
for me I used 4" all the way I just slipped a 3.5 silicone hose short piece over the discharge and then slid a 4" piece on top and clamped and it works great,$" matches right up to the 90 mm,well almost
John ,
your buddy w/ the D-2 ,what size mtr does he have ?
It was a 4" to 3 1/2" from these guys https://web9.tdl.com/jags/Parts_AirClean_Ducting.html
But I didn't think that the .19" wall thickness would hold for 20+ lbs of boost so I went to the new setup.
His is a Bennett 337 cube motor in a somewhat lightened coupe.Quote:

Mines weights around 3050 w/ me in it full
Whoa, that's a very nice weight. Mine is still a porker @3450 or so with me (no reflection on me of course).
I had my car down to 2600lbs before I installed the 10pt cage, blower and intercooler. It did have the stock tank in it at the time. I have since replaced it with a cell and removed some other things. I hope to weigh in at around 2900lbs with me in it.
My only problem is it's a little nose heavy w/ the cooler behind the bumper according the the chassis scales and it would be best for me to move it inside. Also my car is still all steel outside and could stand to change the hood to a glass cowl and I still have iron dart heads but they do flow very good numbers so really I could probably lose another 50-70 lbs off the ft w/ a couple of changes .
I just bought a D3-R which was never used, but had been sitting around for a while. After reading this thread, it sounds like longevity is somewhat of a crap shoot, and if there are any problems, ProCharger won't work with you, except to work you over for big $$$ for what should be warranty repair, or if nothing else, what should be inexpensive repairs to make what's wrong, right.
1bad86gt.. do you have any pictures of your motor in car??
