What are your winter plans for your Novi cars???

So far on the agenda for the 89GT I will be doing the following for sure and have most of the parts on hand.

GT40P heads.
1.72 shaft mount roller rockers.
Timing chain.
TrickFlow street intake.


Wants

7" crank pulley
PA reverse manual valve body for my C4.
PA super servo for C4.
PA aluminum pan if it will clear my O2s.
3.55 gears with an aluminum cover.
Bigger electric fan.
6pt MM roll bar.

Bound and determined to hit the 11s on Nittos.
Shouldn't be a problem, hell I think I could do an 11.99 as it sits if I could just get a clean pass but will never know.:D

Lets here it guys.

Well things change allot but:

Fiberglass hood, 4" Cervinis
WMS SDS digital DFI
13lbs of boost
Aeromotive Fuel System
42LB Injectors, flow matched

And there are a few odds and ends that I need to tie up...tune up, gap my plugs, retard timing, new sample tube for the C&L.

What headers do you have now?
You don't always have to get new ones.

I'm plan on using my BBK long tubes without troubles.

im currently using some 1 5/8 BBK shortie equal lenghths. I should probably go to long tube anyway huh? Let me know what you think. Think I should spend 250$ on longtubes or stick with the shorties? I just dont want to spend and extra 250$ and pick up 5HP you probably know what im saying. Thanks for the input

I feel cheated because it doesn't even rain here, let alone snow. I had to break out the winter jacket today because it dropped down into the low 70's. I guess I might change my oil this weekend.:cool:

The cool thing about P heads is they are cheap even brand new and flow slightly better than the GT40s.
I do not know for sure if the BBK equals will work or not but they may.
I love long tubes. Not so much for any power gains but I love the sound change(HUGE) and also the lack of drone.

If im going to be pulling my motor I might as well throw some long tubes on eh? My equals have an exhaust leak anyway and I can barely fit the stock spark plug wires in around the tubes. Therefore i dont think the P heads will allow me to fit them.

What about edelbrock heads? i hear they are fairly priced and do well, is this true?

90mm lmaf
rear upper and lower control arms
and another custom tune (damn it)

as far as the weather, i feel for you doug, yeah i really do...me and the stang have seen many a snowy roads. only a few days a year when my baby won't make it, then it's into the wife's car i go.

This winter I want to get a 7.5" crank pulley and a T-rex fuel pump.

I also want to convert to five lug and put Weld Pro-Stars on it.

But we'll see what the wife says.

mike, what will the trex do for me. i've heard of it, but never researched it. pm me with some knowledge.

My plans include, but are not limited to!;

Upper and lower control arms.
axel's and a new diff.
some drag radials.
probably a pro-m and some 50 #ers
And some tuning knowledge with the pms.


I drive my car year round, but not in the nasty stuff. Gas is cheaper and the air is real good here in oklahoma. I still haven't driven the car with the blower. Hopefully this weekend.
