If it was you and you had a choice between a new Paxton Novi 2000 Blower or a ATI Procharger PS1-SC with a Intercooler for your 1994 Mustang GT 5.0 what would you put under the hood??
Please help me!

You should really look @ the D1SC from ProCharger - it is much closer to the NOVI 2000 for CFM and HP ratings.
Ian
Come on guys help him out - do not be afraid to speak your mind!
Ian
Although Paxton really pissed me off with there non-support and general sabotage of this site. I cannot knock their products. The Novi2K is an excellent product. And yes it pains me to say this.
Doug:mad:
My P1SC lasted 12 passes. The Novi 2k that I currently run is going on 3 seasons!
another Vote for the NOVI 2000!
I wish i'd got a Novi 2000 right off the bat.
so do the novi 1000 and 2000 make the same whistle sound or is the 2000 louder?
Another vote for the Novi 2000 :D
my 2000 is quiet compared to an s trim
but you can still hear it
I guess the ProCharger guys are scared LOL..
I would pick the ProCharger again in an instant - why?
1 - Instruction manual - it actually HELPS!
2 - Stainless hardware - everywhere
3 - Self Contained
4 - Intercooled
5 - Loud as hell!
6 - Awesome customer service, owner and managers are great!
7 - They have some of the FASTEST race cars out there
8 - I was using the renegade brackets which are SUPER thick and very strong.
Ian
I LOVE my Novi 2000. I don't, for a minute, regret my purchase. Even after the event Doug brought up, I still recommended the blower to anyone that asked me how I liked mine. However, the customer service is non-existant(I placed one call to paxton and then found NoviPower).
From the sound of Ian's post, Procharger actually values their customer. This is an important thing. So let me be the first Novi 2000 owner to vote for Procharger.
And my Novi is quiet. Here's the car on the dyno...you can only hear it at the beginning of the vid Click Me
Sounds great Ross - I took your video, compressed it and uploaded to the photopost :)

Thanks a lot Ian, I've been looking for something to compress mpegs, but haven't found anything.
I actually use Microsoft Movie Maker - works great.
Ian
If you would like some information on the Novi 2k kit, please let me know and I would be more then happy to mail you some.
Thanks...
Kelly
Hey Kelly,
Whats new?
You havent posted in a while.
I vote for the 2000 again ( see Kelly, still got it, and am pitching it ;) )
1: Instruction manual = myself, doug, hustler, kelly, yada yada yada.
2:good hardware
3:Oil feed, (read: non leaking seals)
4:efficient
5:not that cheesy gear noise, but a nice air moving noise.
6:Customer service = Kelly, he'll bend over backwards for you.
7:they have fast street cars, and race cars. :)
8:brackets are strong as well, and shiny
9: the seals don't leak
My p600b lasted 8 years had a little problem with belts at first other than that I was great.
Hey whats up fellas...
Well I have to choose my words wisely, and how I present myself. It seems as if big brother is watching me.
So Brandon what pair of mustang underwear do you have on this week? (You change mustang's more then I do my sock's and underwear!) Oop there I go thinking out loud again! I like the new format...it gives everbody the oppurtunity to intermix...kind of like crossing the "color lines"
Everyone ready for thanksgiving? Who here hunted there bird this year?
Kelly.
Kelly, look for my other post about my new car being home. This one's here to stay. lol. 4 in a year is enough for some time.
I like the crossing of the "color lines".
I hunted my bird this year.
and yes, big brother is always watching.
:)
I alway's wanted to hunt a bird for thanksgiving, but being where I am from all that we have to hunt are Pigeons...So has anyone found me a crank yet to throw in my car? Hey Anyone from here going to PRI?
kelly, refresh us of your combo, car, and all?
Kelly,
What kind of crank do you need. I have a stock one you can have.
Doug
Doug thanks, but a stock crank won't cut the mustard. I am looking for a stroked (not sure what stroke) crank preferably a hyperlite from scat...I am looking to make 352 inches out of my next motor!...
K.
what block are you going with k.
