15#s boost and 5000 rpm MSD rev limiter

Just wanting to know if its ok to bounce off the limiter at say 5000 rpm ? I see people do it on there lanch, but is it ok with alot of boost behind it ?

Reason i ask is i bumped the limiter at 5200 to see what my boost was up to with the new blower and it popped so damn loud out of the exhaust, it scared the $h!t out of me! I know it was just excess fuel burning off but it made me wonder if this was ok to do for just a second ?

BTW, it sounded just like a Pro 5.0 turbo car right before the launch
