I shifted into 4th and that was it so im fig around 4800 never took her over 6000.

I would try shifting at 6500, and then try lowering the shift points, see what happens. It depends on how much the power was falling off.
My car peaked at 6500-6600, but I shifted it at 7000-7100 to keep the revs up.
