Hood clearence?

I just bought a novi 2000 and the oil feed line hits my hood. Has anybody ever ran into this problem?

Yes this is common, a few things you can try are to clock your blower, get convertible or lowered motor mounts, or do what i did and get a cowl hood :)

i had a 4 inch Harwood "that is for sale now" and still wouldn't clear it so i bought a boss inc cobra R hood. problem solved:)

Thats a good point, on a standard cowl hood the knob is still sticking up over near the side where the hood curvature follows the stock flush height.
