has anyone with a novi 1000 run in the tens?
there are people that have done it. I should be one of them this spring. Not to jinx myself! LOL
what is your combo?
my combo is pending! LOL last year i ran a 11.28@123 and the only thing that stopped me from a 10 second pass was my crapp converter.
what do you think this is worth? Stage 2 ported Holley heads stage 2 ported holley intake, 10.6:1 306, 80mmm mass air 70mm t.b. 3.73 gears 1 3/4 headers, 30 pounders, hanlon built 5 speed 8 psi. Let me know the car made 320 rwhp naturally aspirated, and ran a best of 12.90 at 111 with a 2.00 60 ft. The car was capable of easy 12.50's
There's a guy on here that doesn't post that much named Rob. He used to have a 88 (I think?) GT with a Novi 1000 that ran 10.9 @ 128. The GT got swiped and now he has a notchback.
If you see this Rob, please correct me on anything that is not accurate.
I will do that i am gonna run a 10 sec pass no matter what it takes with a novi 1000.;
I too will be gunning for that 10 second pass with my Novi 1000 next year.
i got 351 reasons that say i'm gonna get my 10 second pass! LOL
I would say that'll be more than enough "reasons" to put you in the 10's :DQuote:

I'm hoping for mid to low 11's in 2 weeks when the track re-opens.
i ran 11.19@125.8....with a 1.65 60ft with a 3280lbs car with a novi1000 with nitto drag radials and a TKO NOT powershifted
look at my website for mod details and a 11.47 video and a pix of the 11.19 time slip
