Bypass or Blow off Valve?

Hey Guys,
I'm new to the site and new to the supercharge world.
Wondering if anyone can give me some feed back.
Set up is 91 5.0 w/heads cam intake.
Sn2000 blower, 42 injectors, 90mm lmaf.
sct chip and custom tune.
Problem is when i get off the throttle the car stumbles and if i get back on the throttle or try to cruise at normal speeds.
This only happens after i hit boost or if im cruising along while not in boost.
I've been told I need a blow off valve, but then someone told me you can only use a blow off valve if you have a blow through meter.
So my question is blow off or bypass and where does it go?

The Paxton SN2000 does not need a blowoff valve, it does work best with a bypass valve
It is conected between the incomming and outcomming pipe of the supercharger.

Umm, that's the same thing isn't it... A blow off valve can either vent to atmosphere to pipe that air back into the s/c inlet tube. A bov is open and sucking in air when the intake manifold is under vacuum so either way you need a filter on it.

You definitly need a bypass valve. Whats happening is when you let off the throttle your throttle vavles close and ther is no where for the excess air to go because the supercharger is still building boost. With the bypass valve it allows the excess pressure to vent to the atmosphere. When nail the gas or excellerate hard, vacumn on the engine goes to zero causing the bov to close and build pressure on the engine which is power. When you let off the gas, vacumn goes up causing the bov to open and vent boost, because it is not needed.
