Long snout for M122

Hello from Australia! I can't believe the lack of posts here! When we first saw this forum we thought "Great, all will be revealed!!" I hope someones listening.

Anyway, we have bought an M122 for our aussie '97 Ford Fairmont Ghia sedan. Its got an EFI 5.0 windsor in it. The point of getting the 122 is the rear air intake entry on the 122 suiting the position of our air cleaner on the left side of the car. (People have used the 112 but they have had to route the intake plumbing all over the engine bay to avoid relocating the battery)

The question we have is;

We think we will have to run a longer snout than what comes with the 122. Will the snout of the 112 bolt up to our 122??
