Just removed my 144 supercharger to check while car is in resting for the winter. found this strange stripe on the rotors. Is this something I should be concerned about. Not sure if I should send out for rebuild. This is my first vehicle with a blower and I am still learning about them. Was a auto tech for 15 yrs and do most of my work myself. see photo.Attachment 1990

That is a teflon strip.
It is on all the small B&M/ Wieand blowers
It is a clearance strip that helps the blower be more efficient.
They do wear as they are occasionally make contact with the outer housing if the rotors flex from over spinning.
You caouls call a blower shop and check what the clearance should be and check it yourself.
It is usual to have them re-stripped.
I had my 162 done a few years ago and when I go it back it would not turn.
That is because they are an interference fit and will wear in to your casting once the engine is running.
