Are the numbers etched on the pulley the size?

I just got a D-1 Procharger with the upgraded 3 core sheetmetal intercooler. It's going on a DSS 306 with hogged out Victor Jr heads (2.05/1.60), ported Victor 5.0 intake, custom cam with 236/247 duration and 574/591 lift, 1 3/4" long tubes with 3" collectors to 3" straight pipe and 3" mufflers.

I sent all of my information to ATI and told them I would like 10lbs of boost and that my car should turn about 6800 rpms. I just looked at the pulley and it has 4 50 etched in to it. Does this sound about right?

It all depends on the crank pulley. 4.50 seems big unless the crank pulley is hugh(with your setup that is.)

i asked ati that question that number is the size of there pulley i also have 4.5 pulley with an 8 in crank pulley.

Its kinda hard to say what kind of boost that will make on that motor. Those heads I'm sure will really be putting out some flow numbers, as well as the intake. I would guess you should be close to 10#'s esp w/ an 8" crank pulley, however the 4.50 blower pulley seems a little big. What rib are your running for the blower pulleys

It came with a single 12 rib belt...The crank pulley has DC002A-12 etched in to it on the back.

Does anyone know how to correctly measure the pullies? Do you measure the inside diameter where the belt sits or the outside diameter? If someone knows I can tell you tell you what my simular setup used to make ten pounds. Actually I think it did have a rather big pulley around that size. I'll measure the pulleys the next time I go to the garage. Most likely his weekend.

ati uses the out side of pulley for there measurements.

I just measured the crank pulley and it is 8" on the outside.

psschulz...What kind of setup were you running with 10lbs? What kind of #'s and times did it put out?

This will be my first experience with a forced induction car. I'm not really too sure what to expect. ; )

well I'm running an F1, but to give you some ideas for comparison, procharger guesses 15 lbs on my 400 with a 4.25 pulley and a 6.75 crank pulley at 6000 rpms, to compare to my old P1SC I was seeing 9 lbs of boost on a 350 with a 3.25 pulley and the same crank pulley at 5000 rpms.

Big think to consider, what kind of intercooler are you running? a 2 core lost 3 lbs to the engine with the P1SC 12 lbs at the blower, 9 at the engine.
