Smile newbie and his install on a 65 Mustang

    Hya guys,

Been looking at that website for a while now (extensive use of the search button, I can tell you that).
    Background info,
I bought a SN93 off eBay about 4 years ago, it was a second hand one but never been used.
had the blower + a crank pulley + elbow pipe and a spare pulley for the SN93

    Fast forward 4 years.....
Found a bargain on eBay for the front plate, so had to buy it.
I then saw a 10 or 15% discount on the CUNDN eBay shop for certain parts, ie: main bracket, so again I bought it.

A thread without a few pictures is boring so.... enjoy (the SN93 install is a work in progress...)
    the car:

    My modified main bracket:

I had to modify it to be able to fit the alternator exactly where I wanted.
It might not be the best idea/work but it does work in my case.

    My blow through carb

boring specs of the carb, if you are interested
Annular boosters for excelent signal and fuel distribution.
Screw in air bleeds for ultimate fine tuning of the fuel curve.
Machined cavity shooters with tube extensions for upper end pullover enrichment.
Holley cast Metering blocks have been enhanced with enlarged main wells for strong fuel delivery.
Screw in 3 circuit emulsion bleeds.
    Screw in idle feed restrictors.
    Screw in power valve restrictors.
    4 Corner idle mixture control
Base plate has been resurfaced top and bottom.
    Profiled throttle shafts.
Throttle shafts have been machined to accept teflon sleeve seals
Bowls machined to accept crossover balance tube to equalize pressure diferential between the front and back fuel bowls.
High flow .120 needle and seats
Solid nitrophyl floats( secondary float, notched for jet extensions)
    Secondary jet extensions.
Powder coated high gloss black and metering blocks annodize red.

The SN93 itself (remember, it's a work in progress so things might change)

    Engine itself:
    SVO 342 Ford Racing block
    DART pro1 heads
    Weiand X-CELerator Intake
    Compcam 276HR
    Mallory Max-Fire dizzy
and other go-fast parts bolted to it

Just letting you know you might need to clock that alt so the plugs face the frame rail.

Unfortunately I can't. It would be a pain in the *** to modify the wiring :freaks:.
It's now installed, and nothing is touching the alternator plugs. I'll post a picture tomorrow.

Here's the video I took today

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juTq_F6sjDM
I have deliberately disconnected the hose, the sound coming out of the supercharger like this is amazing.
When the all thing is connected, surprisingly it's very very quiet. Quieter than I thought it would have been. Quite pleased with that.
I mean, you can still hear it, but it's not "in your ears" sorts of speak.

I have one tiny issue with the crank pulley, this will be sorted on Monday
