    input shaft end play SN-60

    what should the end play be, if any, in the input shaft? I just finished rebuilding my SN-60 and there is .025 end play, I wonder if there should be a shim between the upper bearing and the bearing case. the overhaul manual does not specify one way or other. also I have .009 clearance btwn impeller and case. is that a little tight? thanks .

    thanks, craig sent me an email this end play is acceptable. and I read somewhere in this forum that 1/16 in. is normal. Bill
