    new charger

I am interested in to buy ProCharger D-1SC unit or Paxton Novi 2000 unit if it fits to the passenger side to my car. I know that there are kits to GM TPI engine but only to the wrong side (drivers side). I don't want to move my AC Compressor to passenger side and move belts to serpentin system.

Could anyone tell me if there is some Novi 2000 or someone another charger (good unit) that give more power than my SN-92 and fits to the passenger side to my '87 model Pontiac? Has anybody Paxton Novi 2000 unit in 3gen Firebird or Camaro?

    Here is my car: http://www.nic.fi/~ilku

    Thanks!

I don't know about the Procharger but I have replaced my SN93 with a Novi 2000.
The distance from the pulley is the same bud the bracket needs some modifaction.
You need to measure it good and need to cut of the top of the bracket about 1 inch and maybe drill new holes but it can be done:

    This was the old:

    This the new:

    Thanks for your answer,

This help me much if this Novi2000 fit to the passenger side to my 3gen Pontiac.

I am just thinking if Novi2000 fits under my hood? I have RamAir hood in my 3gen car that could help something in that.

How about the belt and pulleys? 6- or 8rib belt or some kit? And what are standard pulleys if I buy my supercharger from here:
    http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PAX-8001403-1P
Is that right supercharger to my car if that comes to passenger side as below in top of picture.

What does that rear or front mean exactly? And that forward rotation, is that same as clockwise. Means that it rotation is the same as motors rotation?

    Thanks!

that is the right model, clockwise and rear discharge.
The Novi sits in the same height then the SN93.
best to upgrade to 8 or 10 rib, I used this pulley with a spacer: http://www.superchargersonline.com/p...er=V4MA018-061

Check here for pulley and other stuff: http://www.superchargersonline.com/accessories.asp

And here for the headunit, its cheaper then Summit: http://www.superchargersonline.com/p..._2000_headunit

Don't forget the oil suply and return to oilpan you can get it there to bud I got it from Ebay it was way cheaper, they are all the same Vortech procharger and most turbo's.

    Thank you for answering again,

This help me very much. I think that the next supercharger is Novi 2000 in my car.

I only try to sell my old Paxton SN-92 supercharger now and try to get the the new charger unit shipping to Finland in some way. That could cost very much over the Atlantic because the unit is so heavy... ;)

know all about that, living in the Netherlands myself.
    Expect shipping around $100.
I got my headunit used from ebay $700 + all the brackets for a smallblock but they really do not fit at all for me.

    Hi again,

I found unused paxton Novi 2000 supercharger headunit now from Finland (that was a miracle almost ;). There could be pulleys and belt also. I could buy this if this is suitable to passenger side to my car? Is this clockwise and rear discharge type unit?

    Information of that unit:
    S/N: 07640
    D-195- (what does this mean?)

Here is the picture of that supercharger:
    http://kuvablogi.com/nayta/358332/

Is there anywhere assembly guide for that supercharger?

    Thanks again!

You can download installation manuals on the webside http://www.paxtonauto.com/
Most importand is to have the oiling system right.
Yes that model would fit, but you need to route the air hose to the trottle body, you can clock the rear cover to the left or right.

    hi,

    Thanks for answerring!

Why I have to route the air hose to the trottle body because I have intercooler and pipes should go from left side to the right side (the intercooler is between the pipes).

I think that that rear cover is right now. From the left side to the right (in front of car).

I only think to replace my old Paxton SN-92 supercharger to Novi 2000 supercharger.

Oh, I forgot about the intercooler, the straight ending is even better for you.
Just keep the pressurised oil suply on the top spraying the gears of the sc and the oil drain at the bottom to the top of the oilpan.

Is there any link to universal Installation manual where I could check the oil system and more about the Novi 2000 installation?

I put some pictures in spring when the installation is finished.

    Thank you!

    Here some installation pictures: http://www.pacificp.com/forum/viewto...34e640a6824d4d

I also bought a kit like this on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GODSP...item2a0c12bfbd

It comes with a T block for the oilpressure sensor so you can route the oil suply to the Novi.

A lot of different sies and lenght's there. the size -4an is what you need.

Not really universal, but they show how to mount the oiling system, and you can see the supercharger beiing mounted in a sertain angle.
