    sbc dyno pull

    Well i finally took the chevelle to the dyno today(im trying to figure out a way to post the sheet but i dont have a scanner) peak torque came in at 405lbs @4300rpms peak hp was
    358.1@5450rpms I was hoping for numbers closer to 400hp looks like my cam is really whats holding me back looks like im going with a comp cams blower cam and h.o. impeller

    Hey Mike,

    Did they measure the AFR? What camshaft do you currently have?

    Are you going to take it to the track this week?

    i was between 11.5- 12.2 the whole run
    I have a e brock performer cam (tiny)
    I will be at infinion wednesday how bout you??

    what is ideal afr? the dyno guy said I looked pretty good

    I will be there too.

    AFR looks okay. I try to stay around 11.5 to be safe. Depends on your compression and total timing. I'd love to see the dyno graph.

    The Performer is a good mild street cam, but Comp does make a nice blower cam. Which one were you going to get?

    Looks like a nice cam. Should idle real well.
