    Smile B&M 177 Blower 1st. Drive

FINALLY got to move the car under its own power last night.:teeth:

    B&M 177/383Mopar/auto/ 484Mopar cam/9.25cr./ aftermarket-850 Holley in a 68` Plymouth.

It drives nice, has a nice "whistle". But if you "nail it" the blower sounds like you put a stick in a fan?' WTF???

Rattles the valves INSTANTLY too. Timing at 36*,carb. jets 89/96. No gauges yet so I don`t know what the boost is. I only nailed it a few times just for a second.

    Welcome to SCH.

Sounds like a beast! Congratulations on getting it going under it's own power.

Post some pics if you can. Better yet, try and take a video and post it. If there really IS a problem when you 'nail it', them it might make it easier for others here to help diagnose it.

pull some timing from it (total not initial).
put a boost gage on it...
