Hi, new guy here. bunch of questions for everyone. why a cog set up??? I am hearing a bunch of horror stories about cog belts only lasting one dyno pull and 1 lap down the track?? really. what is the life span on a cog belt for street use? i am running a vortech YSi with the 35mm cog belt on a 358w.all new build for me. very excited, but its beating me up real good. its a 91 ford mustang. i didnt do alot of research before buying the cog set up, just really wanted the cool cog looks to be perfectly honest. its not a drag race only car. i intend to mainly drive it on the street, maybe 4 times a year at the drag strip. just wondering should i get rid of the cog set up and get a 10 rib?
