P1SC FOX setup... is the A/C pump needed for stability?...

Do you guys think I need the A/C compressor on the A/C bracket for stability? I have the ASP A/C eliminator pulley which bolts in the 3 holes on the A/C bracket... but I am worried about the bracket possibly flexing with out the A/C pump bolted between the bottom/rear mounts and the bracket. What do you think? The kit comes with a brace that goes between one of the rear-bottom A/C mounts and one of the outside most bolts on the ATI bracket, but I don't know if that is enough. Do I have an alternative to NOT have the A/C compressor in the car? I know that they make a bracket for it, but I want to keep my power steering for the time being... so what do I do?

It seems I've read on the corral that without the A/C in place there is considerable flex.

I have seen that thread, just doesn't really say anything about deleting the A/C pump. Looking at the setup on the A/C bracket, it looks like it would flex a lot, but never hear about people having problems. The other thing is that there is a brace that goes on the back side of the bracket assembly... With this in place, I would think that it wouldn't really matter weather the pump was in place or not... I'm sure that some rigidy is lost, but with that brace... is it really going to make that much of a difference? I have the ASP A/C delete pulley that sits in the factory A/C bracket and I would MUCH rather have that there instead of the A/C compressor considering the fact that I haven't had A/C in abuot 5 years now in that car.

I would just like to aviod it if possible... it's heavy, it's ugly, it will be completely non-functional and in the way. I am trying to clean up the engine bay as much as possible with this project... hiding wires, sensors, as much as possible.
