well nobody shared their secret cam spec's with me so.....
i contacted Chris Straub, www.straubtechnologies.com for a better lumpy stik...
it's a custom grind, i'm told it will be at least 100-hp better that my firstcam that ran super hard.
now all of the work to swap it over.

got it back together and it fired right up,
    sounded good, good throttle response,
    started running rough, black smoke,
took it for a short ride, to put some fresh gas in it,
too late, started mis-firing, drove home and parked,
pulled 1-plug and found it black, new plugs only got 20minutes of time on them
    crappy gas

    new cam is on a 112LSA solid roller with 232*/248* @0.050 & a 0.612''/0.590''
Good = runs nice/rev's hard, still a fair idle, my boost still appears to be max'ed at 12psi.
it does appear that i need to change to a more application specific torque converter to get more
out of my combo at this point
Bad = still evaluating the performance since i switched from a manual to T400 trans
hope to get a new custom converter to replace my off the shelf unit that only works ok

    here is my current set-up

68-malibu, 4000+# with me in it, 10-point cage
    427+0.030 BB-engine, forged crank-r0ds-pistons 8.65:1-compression
Dart 308 rect.port heads and intake, 750DP holley from CarbShop for blowthru
    Hooker pos 2''primary/3.5''collector,c/full 2.5''Flowmaster muff's&tailpipes
    Chris Straub spec'ed SR-Bullet Cam
    RPM Range: 1800-6200?
    Lift: 0.612/0.590
    Adv. Duration: 269/282
    Duration @ .050": 232/248
    Lobe Sep. Angle: 112
    Intake CenterLine: 110
    Valve Lash: .028/.030
    Procharger F1-R supercharger with inter-cooler
(was+14psi-boost with stick shift, now 9-11psi with last couple of cams & T400 )
    T-400 no transbrake, GM25HD-Hughes converter
3.73-12bolt posi, 275/60-15 MT drag radials[28''-tall] 2''lowering spring on rear
BMR.anti-roll bar, Chris Alston tubular upper, UMI-tubular lower control arms with triangulation braces
    275/60-15 MT drag radials[28''-tall]
deleted front swaybar, 70-30 front shocks, Moroso drag springs front for BBC.

i think this wants to idle @ 900-1100rpm, using 20*initial+14*mechanical for 34*total timing
    i'm at a mile high altitude, have Msd6AL unit,SR-427bbafterinstall4.jpg

swapped in a T400-trans due to concerns about torque rating of 5-speed manual torque rating being far exceeded

Good God!!! damn, thats some serious stuff! LOL. those damn prochargers are awesome. i really like them. I'm waiting on tuning to come out for the 2013 Ram 5.7 Hemi. once available, its going on my truck! Ripp Superchargers already supports the 2011, and 2012's are coming out soon, so i have another year of waiting. lol

My B&M supercharger build i started last year came to a halt, ill get back into that hopefully in the summer time.
