    P-1SC-1 kit belt tension

We got the kit with that supercharger (only sc kit for in market for the car so far) in a 2012 Mustang V6 and installed it. One issue we have is what is the proper supercharger belt tension; the kit instructions is not particularly clear. And contacting ProCharger got us the reply "tighten it until it is tight," which in my book is not a proper reply. I do have access to serpentine belt tension gauges, you know, the one that you run the belt between 3 pulleys and it indicates the tension.

with the manual tensioner i tighten mine until i can flick the long side to make a guitar sound,
then tighten it a little more till it sings when flicked,
you should also chect the tension after running it, belts will stretch alittle after first usage...

Thanks for the info. My concern is overtightening the serpentine belt; eating a bearing or shearing the belt is not a good way to end a day you know. ;)
