it is possible there are plugs not firing and loading up / fouling
what plugs do you have in there??, new-not just regapped used ones??
try 8-fresh regular plugs gapped at 0.030-0.035''
it did sound like you needed more initial timing [14*-22*]also to let it run cleaner,
just limit maximum total advance [all in by 2500-rpm] to 34*-36* in the distributor

are the electrodes narrowed to a fine point or fat/normal at the bottom??
i don't think narrowed electrodes provide a big fat spark needed to burn the mixtures we push thru these engines

    they're fat-normal,
I changed for one colder heat range with 0.035 gap, but still rich .....12.5:1...12.0:1

"A high level of hydrocarbons in the exhaust may be caused by oil
leaking past the valve guides. This will cause an artificially rich
    mixture indication."

I read this on the AFR instructions, but the exhaust fumes are smelling very rich, it makes me sick and my clothes smell so bad so, if there is a little oil passing, I think the problem is more a jet sizing issue.... I will search in this way.

Anyway as weather allows, I will make a road test to look if the AFR is right at WOT and cruise or if the problems occurs only at idle :-)

    Hello,

I have made my firsts real tests rides on the road….
I drove in « D » on the TH-350, the power is not impressive at first ......until I reached +-3300 RPm, than it’s incredible I have 10psi of boost and the car is pulling and screaming as it would never end….
I also made a switch (to overtake some very slow cars) from D to 2 and the car directly pulled hard , I had to left the throttle as I was in town….at nearly 80MPH…
When I'm in 1 or 2 the car behaves more nervously it's way more fun...

I already change my jets to run leaner, but I think I will have to rejet to higher jets on the first bodies as I feel some hesitation in the engine just before 3200RPM , I think I need more fuel at this stage….

I also fitted some QTP cut ou exhaust, it's very fun to drive the exhaust open in a tunnel or when doing a small burn out

I will try to make some videos next time...
