    Belt part numbers and length?

I've seen 2 Gates part numbers posted.
K100570 which the poster said was equivalent to the stock belt,
K100563 which I believe was shorter.
My manual listed 2A041-568 Belt, S/C Drive 10 GRV Polycog 1441mm x 35.7mm as the stock belt. I assume that this is the Paxton PN.
Does the Gates PN give an indication as to the length?
I cannot seem to get a Gates catalog.
If anyone has more data please post it as I'm trying to collect dat in case I go to a smaller pulley.
PS: I saw the Gates K100570 on a web site for $26.

    belts...

the way gates belts work are as follows..

080550..... 080 refers to 8 rib.... 550 refers to approx length plus i believe 5/8 inch... so that would be 55.0 inches PLUS 5/8 of an inch....

    sooooo.... 100575 is a 10rib with a 57.5 inch belt plus 5/8...... now

NAPA sells gates belts under their name... same quality, less price... all they do is add "25" in front of name.... 25080550...

    hope this helps

One thing I have failed to find on the web is a place to search belts descriptive elements. All of the sites send you to a search that wants to know you car make and model. For some reason the catalog from the Gates site will not download. If anyone finds a site where you can search belts by descriptive element let me know.
PS: I went to NAPA online and did a search. No luck by placing a 25 in front of the number or putting in K100570.
However, I do appreciate the info. I'll talk to the guy at the local NAPA store.

If your looking for the shorter belt. I can have my local Carquest auto parts store ship you one(I asked the rep today). I was the one that posted the part numbers before. The first part number was the conversion from the original Paxton number. That belt was too long on my stock 10 rib set-up. The second number is the belt I got after trying 3 other lengths. Are you having trouble getting the right belt for your stock pulleys or did you change pulleys? Let me know.
