    new intake time????

It is time to pull my gt40 since I found a buyer.

What do you think will be a better intake to go with the trick flow track heat or the holley systemax?

The holley is on avg about $100-150 more than the trick flow and I was wondering how much of a power difference there really is between the two. I see a ton of people on the corral using both with great numbers. I will also be buying an accufab 70-75mm throttle body depending on the opening of the intake. For what it would cost to open up the gt40 to flow better I could buy a track heat that will out do it out of the box. No one really argues that statement too much.

The car currently has a dss bullet, world product windsor sr.alum heads, big cam(but used don't know specs), 36 lbs injectors, 80mm pro-m, fms shorties, vortech strim 3.33 pulley(2.95 on order and power pipe soon), this is the basic combo blower car a ton of people run. I will be changing to twisted wedges and a anderson b31 soon if that helps. I have a feeling I will nuke the current motor this summer once I start flogging it.

Let me know what you people think - Thanks.

I know the Holley works wonders for me...but in reality you really can't go wrong with either intake.

The TFS R has worked well for me, and I only have a 302 and a tiny E303 cam.

The Systemmax has a good reputation,, and the trickflow is a similar design,,, I went for the Edelbrock RPM performer,,, The new performer seems to be a nice piece as well,,,, Bee

The Holley really can't be beat. It's got a better power band across the entire rpm range than the trick flow R. And it's majority choice of the NMRA Renegade class.
