Amount of fluid to use on an sn 89 with an oil cooler???????

Hi all! I'm pretty new to this and I'm having a hell of a time finding the answer to my question. I have an SN 89 w/oil cooler. I have no idea how much fluid to use. I have read 8-12 oz. but it wasn't specified weather or not they had a cooler..... Also, is it possible to overfill these units? And if so, am I looking at serious damage????? I'm thinking I over filled. I won't drive it until I find out for sure, I'm trying to avoid causing my self so serious headaches. If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it!!!!

1st Put 10 oz in the blower. Then put the dipstick in the quart of oil turn key on with out starting car and let the pump for the oil cooler fill up when it stops sucking fluid the cooler is full turn key off put the dipstick back in the blower and your ready to go.
